Life after prison
High Tide addresses the struggles of life after prison for father and ex-alcoholic Martin. Living on his son's sofa, he spends the days trying to integrate himself back into society. However, his past is determined to stop this from happening.

Martin wants nothing more than to be able to reconnect with his son, however, Rob wants to be able to move on with his life. He was 16 when his dad was arrested for causing death by drink-driving. He is now 21, with his own flat. Martin is a disruption to Rob's life, which he makes clear by dismissing Martin's attempts at reviving their relationship.
