Channel 4 has a platform for independent short films called Random Acts. Channel 4 is focused on the arts, and Random Acts is their form of presenting on-screen art. Much of the short films are surreal and don't often have much of a script.

The reason we chose this as our platform is because of their support for creativity. For High Tide, we wanted a platform on which High Tide could fit in but also stand out. Other Random Acts projects are more in the surreal aesthetic, less focused on telling a plot and more on the creation and representation of the film. We believe that High Tide will represent the same level of creativity as other works found on Random Acts, but with the style based in realism. Although this is quite unique amongst the others, we feel that it deserves to be represented on the platform because of the creativity that will go into the project.
